My Thoughts: End of Summer Recap

To our friends, family, and followers:

I think summer is always a double edged sword when it comes to productivity. On one hand we generally have a little bit more time to work and on the other we find ourselves wanting to simply relax and enjoy the weather and the time we have with family/friends.

With that being said, we still have continued to produce results. Jake, Mr. Matt, and I have both seen great improvements over the past 6 months. Aside from the release of our clothing line, G Apparel, Mr. Matt has been working hard with the company Kruee and I have been spending time writing, becoming a better producer, a better artist, and networking with new talents across the state.

The wheels are definitely spinning and I think you can expect this movement to take off in the next 6 months. Shout out to Nate Hone and DJ Pigpen. Our team is getting stronger and our pieces are stacking up. 2013 is our year and we are simply gearing up to go full throttle.

I would like to begin by saying the summer of 2012 has been, hands down, the best summer of my life. Between playing soccer with my friends on Sunday nights, flying high at Cedar Point, rocking out in New Orleans for the bachelor party, enjoying time at Christina's lake house, catching a few Tigers Games, bike riding up and down Woodward, spending countless sleepless nights with my "chawndas" (friends), and creating countless memories I couldn't have asked for more.

I was given the opportunity to design for KRUUE, a company co-founded by Anthony Lazzaro (a former CMU student), which has grown tremendously in the past 6 months. And I was given the privilege to design my sister's save the dates/wedding invites.

But most importantly, I created stronger bonds with the most important people in my life and in return they taught me more about myself as a person.

In conclusion. I'm looking forward to creating a better future with you.

You are defined each day by what you do with your 24 hours. We have been doing our best to make them count and so far we are doing well. What we have been able to accomplish while working full time jobs and heading back to school has been impressive. By no means will we be complacent or give ourselves unnecessary kudos. There is plenty of room for improvement and much to strive for. That being said it is a blessing to have goals to work toward and the talents to reach them. “He who moves not forward, goes backward.”
