Maestro Knows - Episode 3 (Los Angeles)
First and foremost, Maestro is the man. I've been following his show for awhile now & I'm soooo envious of his life.
In the 3rd episode of Season 4, Maestro stops to talk to four fellow creatives about their artistic process and their ultimate goals. The creatives he talks to have similar ideas in music, video, and fashion that we do that it's scary. Take a look to see what it's like to be a creative and be inspired to follow your own dreams ...

Earth by Erik Olson
I have always had a weakness for Original Artwork and Outer Space, and Erik Olson just brought those two things together in his masterpiece, "Earth."
Simple at a glance, but I think its his choices in brush strokes that did it for me on this one... the thicker paint coats he applied created a 3-D effect where the painting almost looks like its coming off the canvas.
Cool stuff, definitely something I'd love to hang in my home. Check out more of his work here:

NEW: "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas" by Catie Webster [Audio]
Our friend Catie Webster recorded her own version of Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas for her family.
To my friends and family,
"To me, Christmas is about giving and not just all about materialistic things. In our family, using your creativity and talents to make gifts means so much more. Two years ago, my brother Collin and decided to gather up some Christmas songs, and make a CD for our friends and family. This year, I decided to add to it. I hope you enjoy what I have prepared and I hope you all have a Merry Little Christmas."
Peace and Love,
Catie

B.o.B. - Fuck Em We Ball [Artwork]
via. illroots
Here it is, B.o.B.'s artwork to his new mixtape Fuck Em We Ball, set to release on November 15th. One of the things I emulate B.o.B. for is his vast versitility, he can go in on almost any type of song and I love that. I guess I'm not the only one in the mood to go hard lately, I don't expect to hear many songs for the ladies on this one... #wheremymoney

Sluggo Chalk Art

Yeah, yeah, I admit it. I have a soft spot for art in unexpected places, no matter how juvenile it may be. Looking at this chalk art its hard not to smile. #dope

Artist John Keddie creates these ironic, sometimes (a tad) racist illustrated photographs. With a little manipulation John transforms the identity and twists the meaning of some famous public figures.
I think anyone can relate to at least one of his pieces of art.
These are my favorite:

C'mon Man! Michael Freimuth vs Mike Waxx
Via: Quipsologies
It has come to our attention that Big Sean's recent mixtape art designed by IllRoots designer/owner Mike Waxx "borrowed" (more like copy and pasted) an illustration done by artist Michael Freimuth which was made back in 2009.
