Nike Zoom Kobe VI "Prelude"

The newest member of the Nike Prelude Series, Nike Kobe VI made it's debut appearance today and will arrive at select retailers in the U.S. and China January 11. Pretty dope sneaker revolved around paying homage to Bryant and his pursuit of his 2011 All-Star MVP award at the Staples Center. The silhouette is adorned with an animated collage of sea wildlife in Southern California.

Sauce Hockey and Red Wings forward Pavel Datsyuk have teamed up to create (a pretty impressive) clothing line. I am always skeptical when athletes try their hand at fashion, but Datsyuk nailed this one on the head. I also like that Pavel went with a lesser known brand than the big corporations that take huge profits such as Nike & Adidas. Hats off to you Pasha!

New Army Football Uniforms

Army unveils WWII-inspired uniforms they plan to wear when they take on the U.S. Naval Academy in the 113th meeting between the two academies on Dec. 8, 2012.

According to a release by West Point, the uniform design pays tribute to 1944, which included the first of Army's three consecutive national championships and the World War II victory at the Battle of the Bulge.

The black and gold uniforms will feature a historical map imprinted on the numbers, the helmet, the gloves, and the interior of the cleats. The helmet also features a small black spade on the side to honor the 101st Airborne Division, which fought in the Battle of the Bulge.

Pretty fierce don't you think? I can't wait to see these in action this weekend!

New Era x Wilson Limited Edition 9FIFTY Snapback

Check out the newest Dri-FIT tights available from Nike. These tights made exclusively for women are intended to "give a glimpse of [womens] inner toughness." With images of X-Ray bones digitally printed on the outside, the tights show off the bone structure of a woman (I don't think this design would work well for the fellas).

According to Nike, "They are not to be worn by the timid, the weak or the wallflower. They are for the woman who wants to let people know she’s not just an average girl – she’s an athlete."

New Central Michigan University Football Uniforms

Central Michigan University just unveiled 4 new football uniforms/jerseys, for a total of 8 possible combinations, for the 2012/2013 school year.

Via CMU,"Designed by Adidas, the new uniform line features four outfits with the same color jersey and pants - black, gold, maroon and white - and four additional combinations created from mixing and matching the gold, maroon and white items. Also debuting with the black uniform is a new black helmet with a matte finish and a tapering maroon and gold stripe down the middle. The maroon helmet will continue to be worn with the other seven combinations."

I like. ALOT! We are going to be looking FIERCE this season.

You need to check this new sneaker line BAIT and Creative Recreation joined forces on! Totally cool, fun concept that I think will appeal to a wide varity of people. I think the key to success with this type of project is to take something childish and infuse it wish real, high end style. No cheese.

Reebok's ZigMaze Concept Shoe

Reebok's newest sneaker design, the ZigMaze, is a totally unique, and in my opinion, amazing shoe concept! The tread design on the sole has been carried across the entire shoe and creates a new, fresh look and feel to the traditional sneaker. 


I think that shoe designers need to continue to experiment and add new textures to their designs, things that feel as interesting as they look. Shoes are really 3-D art if you think about it...


Rumors have it these shoes would go for about $120 retail.
