I work at a golf course & at lunch we are allowed to cook food. So when it's my turn to eat I always make a grilled chicken pita with tomatoes, lettuce, ranch, and tobasco sauce...this is a known on the menu as a "Twister." 

So when I came across this Ashtanur (a local pita bread of Jerusalem) pita bread utensil case I got super   excited! I wouldn't use it myself, but I think it's a cool concept that will sell.

Chuck E. Cheese is a chain of over 500 restaurants aimed towards kids. They offer pizza, a salad bar, arcade machines, rides, and live entertainment provided by large life-like animatronic robots.  In fact, Chuck E. was a big part of my own childhood...I would go there for birthday parties and weekend getaways all the time.

Since 1977 the chain has had the same Chuck E. mouse represent their brand. This past year they have been going through a rough patch and they are looking to boost sales. What better way to boost revenue than to rebrand their mascot!

Spiral-Cut Hot Dog

Now that it's Summer I'm sure most of you have been grilling hamburgers and hot dogs on the BBQ.

But have you ever cooked a hot dog and were unhappy with the way it cooked; nice and grilled on the outside but soft and raw on the inside? Well I have and I hate it!

So I was happy when I came across this simple, yet effective way of cutting a hot dog in a spiral to get the perfect grill. Not only does the spiral technique give you a more even grill, but it helps the wiener cover the length of the bun and adds more space for condiments like mustard, ketchup, and relish. I am going to try this the next time I grill...
