All The Time - Mac Miller (ft. Ab-Soul)

Exactly what I expected from Miller on his newest track: typical chill, stoned out flow. I'm not too schooled on Ab-Soul, but his verse had an Andre vibe to it which I liked. You could argue that this track was "different" but the beat is the only thing that really did it for me. I am a fan of Miller but the whisper thing has been done already and I found myself surfing on the web about half way through the song instead of listening. Not one of my favorites from him but definitely blog-worthy.

A well made music video is the next step in any music artist's career. I think a music video adds a narrative to a song; almost like a mini-movie. In fact, adding a visual element to a song increases the stimulation a viewer experiences.

The beat is snappy, synthetic, and live! Perfect for Mac Miller's flow as he goes in and out of the synths and hits his punch lines right on time with the drums. Perfect.

Only good things can happen when you have Pharrell on your side. I'm very excited to see what these two have in store. Look out for Pink Slime coming soon!

2 Chainz, Mac Miller, and Mr.Roth hop on Bieber's Boyfriend to create this rap remix. I wonder if these guys were all in the studio together...imagine 3 white boys and a gangster rapper. Weird.

Anyways, give it a listen. I don't know if I'm sold on this. What do you guys think?

Mac Miller drops a clean visual for his song Of The Soul from his album Blue Slide Park. Directed By Ian Wolfson.

I like the direction of this visual. Interesting use of the human form (dancers) in relation to the camera shots. But I would have liked to seen one more location being used. Especially for his third verse.
