Football players have been plagued with the ongoing concussion epidemic since its creation. But what do you expect when two 250 pound men collide at incredible speed? Thank goodness for technology! Industrial designer Michael Princip is in the process of creating a stronger, safer helmet. His design works like this: The three layers on top of you dome are designed to isolate the force upon impact rather than having it dissipate across the entire helmet. Therefore, shock is minimized and your mushy brain isn't harmed.
Right now the helmet is in it's experimentation phase but don't be surprised to see it on the gridiron soon!
