The Lolla Remix Throwdown is a contest for DJ's and producers to get their chance to perform live at Lollapalooza in Chicago, IL.

From May 10th to May 22nd - Artists will enter the contest by submitting their best original song or remix and building their artist profile page. Once posted, individuals can vote for each artist once per day. On May 22nd at midnight CST, the open round will close and 50 semi-finalists will be selected.
The Semifinals June 6th-July 1st - The votes are reset and the top 50 will have to create a new remix using tracks provided by a 2011 Lollapalooza artists. On July 1st the top four with the highest rating will advance to the live finals on July 30th in Chicago.
The Final Round: Live Performance Battle July 30th - On July 30th at Double Door in Chicago, the top four will compete via head-to-head DJ sets in front of a live audience. A grand prize winner will be chosen by an industry judging panel.
