Too often in life we get wrapped up in the present and forget about the memories of the past.
So take a minute to Stop and Think:
Think about all your life experiences. Everything from your first soccer game to your first day of high school. Old relationships, favorite teachers.
Think of all the people you've met and the connections you've made. Your best friends, crazy aunt, that kid you hated in high school. Someone you met at summer camp. Your first hookup. The first time you fell in love. A time when someone close to you died.
A time when you were really sick. The feeling of pain. A time when you did something embarrassing. A time when you did something extreme. Think about something you regret. And most of all, remember the feeling of genuine happiness.
Life is an amazing experience that we are lucky enough to go through. Although not every experience is positive, we gain knowledge and grow with each new experience we go through. I believe it's important to Stop and Think and appreciate your life, past and present.
Then take that positive energy and make tomorrow the best day yet...
