Osheaga Festival 2012 just wrapped up last weekend (Aug, 03-05) and this year and was a great success with performances from artists such as Florence + The Machine, The Weekend, Snoop Dogg, Common, A$AP Rocky, Fun., Justice and dozens more!
The Black Keys closed out the festival in high style thanks to the Moment Factory and the Pixel Rain they created for the final act. I've seen this done at a few outdoor venues over the past year and I must say I think it's a dope special effect that is not only visually stunning but interactive, and it really seems to get the crowd hype.
These Pixels were remote controlled which meant they not only flashed randomly but also on cue with the music, creating a truly unique visual for the finale. Check it out:
