Bill Gates recently challenged the world with an all together obscure idea, design the "Next Generation Condoms" saying he would put up 100k to the winner. I think Irina Blok had a really good idea to incorporate Art into the product and I think it goes to show even more that the world we live in is soon going to be defined by Graphic Design. It is no longer good enough to have a quality product if it doesn't look as good as it functions.
"Dear Bill Gates, I wanted to answer your challenge of reinventing condoms from graphic design perspective. Perhaps the biggest problem with condoms is boring packaging, and not the actual product. Creating compelling artwork could encourage people around the world to actually use these."
